  • Task – Represents a to do list in Salesforce
  • Events  and Calendars – Represents an event in the calendar

3. Salesforce Chatter

  • Chatter is a Collaboration tool in Salesforce
  • Chatter Feed
  • Chatter Email Settings
  • Chatter Groups
  • Chatter Feed Tracking

4. Salesforce Mobile App

  • Mobile navigation, for Lightning apps and the Mobile Only app
  • Compact layouts

5. Quick Actions

  • Quick Action are shortcuts, a fast way for users to launch a specific workflow in the Salesforce, like creating records, logging calls, or sharing files
  • Quick Actions are of two types:
    • Global Quick Actions
    • Object Specific Quick Actions

6.7. Create a Global Action

  1. Got to Setup -> Global Actions
  2. New Action
  3. Action Type: Create A Record
  4. Target Object: Lead
  5. Label: Create New Prospect
  6. Drag Mobile Field on Layout
  7. Click Save
  8. Add Predefined Values
  9. Lead Status: Open – Not Contacted
  10. Go to Setup -> Publisher Layout
  11. Mobile & Lightning Actions 
  12. Drag the Create New Prospect Global Action to “Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions” section
  13. Click on Save
  14. Check that the Global Action is Available

6.8. Create an Object Specific Action

  1. Setup -> Object Manager -> Lead
  2. Buttons, Links, and Actions
  3. New Action
  4. Action Type: Update a Record
  5. Label: Close Lead
  6. Drag Mobile Field on Layout
  7. Click Save
  8. Predefined value
  9. Lead Status: Closed – Not Converted
  10. Go to Page Layout: Lead
  11. Drage the new Quick Action to Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Action
  12. Test the New Object Specific Quick Action
